  1. In Acts 9 it was cool how Barnabas came along side Saul when no one else would give him the time of day. Barnabas took him to the apostles and spoke up on his behalf. It took a lot of courage and faith to stand alone with someone so unpopular.

  2. This morning as I was reading in the Psalms, I noted how some of David's thoughts were of joy and exhilaration while others were of depression and sadness. It seems that his moods varied even from one verse to another.
God accepted David with all his imperfections and used him in mighty ways in spite of his mood swings. Good lesson for me with all my faults as well.

  3. Acts 13:44...all who were chosen for eternal life became believers (NLT) ...all who were appointed for eternal life believed (NIV)
I read it in 2 versions and still i dont understand the verse, i believe that we have free will to except Christ or reject Him,.. this makes it sound like the people didn't have a choice but it was pre-determined...now i know that it's God who convicts us and draws us to Him but still i find this verse confusing somehow...
    any thoughts?
