Acts 14:17 - "but he never left himself without a witness. There were always his reminders, such as sending you rain and good crops and giving you food and joyful hearts." Romans 1:20 says that we can also see God in creation and all that He made. Even if we wouldn't have the Bible, we'd still have witness of God. Wannetta
The story of Paul and Barnabus, specifically in Acts 14:8 - 20 shows an interesting tendency about people. After Paul heals the crippled man, the crowd believes them to be gods in human form. They then equate each of them with certain Greek mythological gods (Zeus and Hermes)that they know. Do we do the same thing by sometimes putting God in a box? When we don't understand something about God, do we seek the familiar out in order to attempt to understand? Don
"...O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever." Psalm 30:12 Whenever I pray, I catch myself always asking God for this and for that. I have to remember to praise him and thank him for things as well. They could be simple things like zippers to zip up my jacket from the cold. Thanksgiving is every day.
