I hope all your reading is going well. I am enjoying Galatians again. Just wanting to encourage you all to keep reading and to be open to the Spirit speaking to you. Pray for us as we go to Abundant Springs this weekend that God would meet us, challenge us and that we would be willing to let Him change us. Thanks for your support for one another in this adventure through the NT. Blessings Pastor Pete
I have already and will continue to pray for our Kleefeld group that is at Abundant Springs this weekend. My you feel God's nearness; may you grow in your relationship with him; may you form new relationships with other Christians. Don
I have a deep fear that I've had to periodically deal with since young on. This week it reared its ugly head again. Than I read in the Psalms today..."O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! From the ends of the earth I will cry to you for help for my heart is overwhelmed." (Psalm 61:1-2) I've cried out to God for the courage to trust Him and leave my fear at His feet. To trust Him that He is ALWAYS with me. Than right in the next chapter David writes "I wait quitely before God, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken...He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times." (62:5-8) I so desparately want to trust Him completely, to totally be on the rock where NO enemy can reach me. Wannetta
