Heb.4 is always a comfort to me...we can aproach the throne of grace with confidence knowing that Jesus understands what we are going through.

POWER! Hebrews 4:12a - "For the word of God is full of living power." Couple this verse with Proverbs 18:21b, "...the tongue has the power of life and death." Consider the power that is available to us if we speak the words of God from our mouth. I don't think that I can fully grasp this power. Do I utilize this power? Heb.4:16, "So let us come boldy..." This ties in well with the power part.
ReplyDeleteAlso, those last verses bring great comfort - the High Priest understands our weaknesses and we can come boldy to the throne and receive His mercy and grace in our time of need. Praise the Lord!
