Many times I feel inadequate in the jobs I need to do or the service God calls me to. I need to remind myself that I have God's power in me.II Cor. 12:9 "...My power works best in your weakness." II Cor. 13:4 "We too are weak, but we live in him and have God's power." When I stop to think about it, the things that I can do are limitless, EVEN IN MY WEAKNESS, because I have God's power in me. My prayer is that I would utilize God's power more effectively in my life.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, His love endures forever." Psalm 118 begins and ends with this phrase - similar to the song we sing in church. When I actually do take the time out of my busy life to stop and think about what is really important, I am mindful that 1. we should be thankful to God, 2. God is good, and 3. His love endures forever.

Some days it really does amaze me how alive God is in my life. I also was thinking about how he always makes things work for his plan. For i while I haven't been reading along with the group but what Peter was talking about in youth really made me want to start up again so last week I did. Well at that point God was already working. He made me want to read the bib;e again. Now when I was reading 1 John 1 and 2 it talked a lot about walking in the light. Well I just got faced with a friend who needed help with that subject and God had already helped me with what to say because of what I read. He made sure that Peter would talk about the right stuff at youth and that he would pick the right book for me to read. He really does help when we rely on him.
