The new year is almost upon us. This has been a great excercise in keeping me accountable with daily Bible readings. I have kept up with my readings most days, with only a few times when I needed to catch up on a chapter or two. I have also been blessed by reading various postings from others and seeing what you have noticed in a particular chapter.
ReplyDeleteFor the new year, I plan to go through a daily devotional book like the "Today" one that is on the church's web site.
I wish all of you a blessed new year and hope you all continue with daily Bible readings and devotions.

Even though I don't like the book of Revelation, finishing it gives me "warm fuzzies" and I'd like to give someone a high five. God is ultimately victorious, and that's what matters. Satan can wreak havoc now, we can go through intense struggles now, BUT God will ultimately win in the end. When I think of God winning, Phil.2:11 comes to mind where it says that Jesus will be lifted up and at His name every knee will bow and tongue confess. At God's final victory, EVERY one will bow, no matter what they did here on this earth. God will win! And look what we get if we persevere. A restored and new heaven and earth! No pain, no sorrow, no death, just to mention a few. P-T-L!
