  1. Wow, I have felt so encouraged by reading God's word daily. I received a study Bible at Christmas...absolutely love it!
I'd like to share some thoughts that were expressed in the study part of my Bible ...pertaining to Exodus.

"God's chosen servants must expect opposition and misunderstanding, because that's part of what it means to be a leader; and leaders must know how to get alone with God, pour out their hearts, and seek his strength and wisdom. Spiritual leaders must be bold before people but broken before God and must claim God's promises and do his will even when everything seems against them...The challenge of obedience to God sometimes has to be met beyond how we feel. Mature faith doesn't rely on feelings as a motivation."

May you also be encouraged, as I have been, to press on and to continually look to Him for guidance and direction!

    Blessings, Merle

  2. God must get frustrated with us, his creation, at times. I was reading today how God asked Moses to appear before Pharoah. Moses protested 5 times. Each time God said to Moses, "But I'll be with you." God showed Moses signs of His power and said He would do those same signs in front of Pharoah. But still Moses kept on protesting. And finally God was angry and said "OK, Aaron will go with you."
We must test God's patience at times by protesting over and over when He asks us to do something or go somewhere. And isn't God's way always the best, filled with the most blessings?
