It takes some perseverence to get through the chapters with all the detailed laws and I have found it difficult at times. Chapter 7 describes in detail the offerings that each of the 12 leaders brought to the altar. I compared each offering, and each leader brought the idential offering, and yet each offering is described in detail taking 4-5 verses.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, one thing I that I have been thinking as I've read these chapters is how fortunate we are to be free of all these laws and requirements for offerings. Praise the Lord! That must have been time consuming and burdensome. Thank you Jesus for being the sacrifice once and for all.

While I read these chapters (I am on the outside looking in) I am shocked at how blind they are to God and His promises of providing and helping them...then I am reminded that I to have blind spots, that are not so different than theirs...Lord help me see what you want me to see and to believe where I do not believe and courage to do what you ask of me. Amen
