I'm a little behind and read 1 Sam.30 today. I was struck by something. David comes home to Ziklag and finds EVERYTHING gone....it's burned to the ground and everyone was carried off. It says that David's men became bitter, however "David found strength in the Lord his God." David turned toward God. I tend to worry, to try to figure out what I can do to fix the problem, and when my efforts are all futile, I turn to God. Oh to learn to turn to God as the first thing that I do.
