  1. Two interesting notes from this week's readings - 1. Ch.19:32 talks about a man and how he was very old, about 80. I found it intereresting that they described him as very old at 80 when years earlier men lived to be 800-900 years old.
    2. Beginning of chapter 24 God's anger burned against Israel, and it says that he caused David to take a census. Than in verse 10 it says that David felt guilty about the census and says to God that he sinned greatly by taking the census and asks for forgiveness. Why should David feel guilty, because didn't God cause David to do the census?
How are you all doing with your readings?

  2. You ask how we are doing with reading...I am in awe that I have been able to stay on schedule. Through this busy lambing season and the boys extracurricular activity time I was behind for a day or so...thankfully, I have not been overwhelmed with reading...and I give the Lord all the Praise and Glory for strength needed to keep plugging along.
How are the rest of you doing? I have prayed for us all as we read and learn, to be in-tuned to what the Lord is teaching us through the word!

    Blessings, Merle
