  1. Isaiah 30:15 - "In quietness and confidence is your strength." This verse reminds me a little of Psalm 46:10 - "Be silent, and know that I am God!" We live such busy lives, rushing here and there, having this clamour for attention and than that. Do we have time to be quiet? That's where our strength lies, where God is.

  2. I have to post again. It's been wonderful reading in the last couple of days.
    1. Isaiah 40:10-11 "Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in al his glorious power. He will rule with awesome strength....He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young." God at opposite ends of the spectrum. On one hand his strength and power and on the other hand his gentleness and caring love.
    2. Isaiah 41:10, 13. Only three verses apart, but say the same thing to reiterate the same point. DO NOT BE AFRAID, FOR I AM WITH YOU. He will help us and uphold us.
