Hey, where is everyone at? JUST FIVE DAYS LEFT. Katie and I think we should party when we're done.
ReplyDeleteJust a few thoughts on my final readings:
1. Zechariah 4:6 "It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty." And a few verses further, "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begun." I have a few notes in my Bible margins...The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention. Also, God does uncommon works through common deeds. JUST BEGIN!.
2. As I've been reading through the prophets, reading about the messages that God gave to the Isrealites, I've wondered what would be God's message to us today? Are we living as we should?
Happy New Year to All.

Well, I am singing the Hallelujah course for us all.
ReplyDeleteI was going about my daily routine, reading the Bible and I completely forgot that today was the day to end reading the last book of the old testament. Wow, what perseverance, so thankful that we have been able to do this as a group. Thank you! :)
Happy New Year to you all.

Peter, would you be able to send me the link or outline for reading the new testament in a year that you followed last year?
I was able to cut and paste last years reading schedule of the new testament.
ReplyDeleteYeah, here I go for 2011.
Blessings, Merle
